There’s quite a few decent ones in the Burnley area
Those mentioned decent enough, Usha good food but always poor service, I still go back because the foods good but every time leave feeling let down with their service.
Aroma is nice, always enjoy it there.
Of course there’s others but I’m guessing you want somewhere fairly central

Shimla and then The Talbot for a band and some real ale.

Shimla & aroma are both good, I'd recommend usha but not really in town, on a weekend night if you've not booked you might have to wait for Shimla, I think aroma you'd get a table quicker, depends how pressed for time you are.

Burnley is surprisingly poor for good curry houses.
Not been Agra in years though and was always decent when I did go.
Usha and Aroma are decent enough. But I have had shocking service at the Usha.
If you dont mind driving, Ziyas at Manchester is amazing!

Shimla is good and do some traditional Pakistani styles too.
We went Agra last month and it was excellent, but it's quite a drive from Turf, and you cant nip for a drink pre or post meal.
I'd go shimla as right near Turf so can stay central and expand your evening.

Prefer Aroma to Shimla. Can get a nice cold pint instead of messing about drinking lukewarm cans. Then straight across to the Talbot.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Won't be driving so will be going to one in town, but will keep the recommendations for out of town for another time. Shimla or Aroma look like our best options, so will try one of them.

I'll pass on giving recommendations on where and what to drink and answer your question
I always enjoyed Aroma when I used to commute up and stay over.

Or 100 yds down the road to The Coach if you don't want to risk getting mowed down. Soul Night tonight with DJ Basil.
Some people do both pubs, depending on band times.
