We were superb. Should have finished them off. McNeil best player on pitch by a mile. Mourinho to his credit Sussed us out again

Sussed is out? For all they were better in the second half, having brought on two players who should be starting, they didn’t force Nick Pope into a save.

Super first half and still created the best chances in the 2nd. Coming off disappointed about not beating last seasons champions league finalists shows we must be doing ok!

If we had got a second goal in the first half, and we deserved to, we would have buried them but instead they took the initiative.

This is the truth. They pushed forward more and there was a lot more space in the middle but after that penalty we came closer to scoring than they did.

He didn't suss us out, he got it badly wrong and made some corrections at half time.

First half we were brilliant. Tbh looked like his players weren’t trying.

He would have done better to "suss us out" before the match begins..... What actually happened was he got it wrong and had to change shape and personnel to counter us.

Thought the clear adjustment 2nd half was they plugged the gaping space that McNeil and Taylor were exploiting at will in the first half. Wasn't rocket science but he made the changes.

Slightly off topic - and not saying I think it should have been - but when you compare to some that have been given in other games, why was our goal not disallowed for handball...is there something different in that one when compared to say Ihenacho for Leicester against Norwich last week?

Separate "phase" apparently.

Well not really... Dwight crosses, deflects off defender into his arm; he crosses again; which is cleared outside the box; Jay shoots; which is parried by the keeper; then Wood scores - so it is completely a different phase of play, as when they make the first clearance it goes into another phase.

Not difficult to understand. Unlike the Bournemouth disallowed goal where the handball deflected the ball to the goal scorer directly - hence directly affected the goal, therefore disallowed, correctly.
