Tanguy Ndombele
Tanguy Ndombele
Cost Spurs £55 million yet wasn't any better than either Cork or Westwood.
No wonder we are doing so well.

Re: Tanguy Ndombele
The lads got 6 international caps for France who are World Cup winners,so he must have something about him,but he was invisible in the 1st half, and i'm not surprised Jose hooked him,if he's low in confidence i can't see Jose hanging him out to dry in public will help matters, yes by all means give him a dressing down, but not so publicly,it rarely reaps rewards when managers do this.
But unless he starts pulling his socks up,Lyon will have had Tottenham's pants down at that money.

Seriously think Jose wants to get sacked again.
Already started blaming the balance of the squad, now turning on his own players. Classic Mourinho. Will be laying in to a physio next.

He might have had dressing downs in private, in the manager's office, on the training ground, on the plane home, anywhere and everywhere. This might be the last resort to make him listen.

Spurs have a long history of buying flops. They bought an Argentina wonder boy in the 80s who cost £200,000 a minute of actual game time before he was ditched
They make our odd errors Duke Sordell and Drinky look like loose change compared to the millions they've wasted

Re: Tanguy Ndombele
It just another example which clearly shows that you have to be very, very careful where you throw your cash around and that just because somebody asks for a fee (in this case £55 million?) and somebody else meets that fee, it doesn't automatically make the player worth that fee.
Re: Tanguy Ndombele
So one bad 45 minutes against us and he's written off? You could pick out plenty of times this season when our regulars have had stinkers, doesn't make them bad players.

He’s a very good player hence why José wants more from him. He had a bad game last night. Struggled with injuries and fitness this season.

Only a truly great manager can launch into an individual player like that...can anyone imagine Dyche doing that...not likely.
Jose Mourinho is a totally busted flush

I thought Spurs’ Young lad (Skipp) was very poor and well off the pace. It was no wonder Spurs improved in the second half, once those two were substituted.

They were crap because we outplayed them.

Re: Tanguy Ndombele
The guy was bought by a different manager to play a certain way. The new manager wants him to probably play a different way.
Just because he cost a shed load of money doesn't make him a brilliant player in various roles or positions.
These lads have been trained & coached to the 10th degree in their respective roles since young boys.
Giving him a bollocking won't make him better at what Jose wants him to do.

Thats where they went wrong... should have trained them to the 'nth degree'.Nonayforever wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 1:41 pmThe guy was bought by a different manager to play a certain way. The new manager wants him to probably play a different way.

After all just going to the 10th degree isn't good enough
