The Cheltenham Festival starts on Tuesday and I will run a nap league for each of the 24 races that fill the meeting concluding on Friday afternoon.

Each entrant will start at a virtual +/£0 and for every winner will gain the value of the SP. For each loser you lose -£1.

Each day you should choose one horse as your Nap and if it wins the SP will be doubled.

Please post all of your selections prior to the first race on the day that they relate to and keep them on this thread.

Non runners will not be replaceable and if one is selected will count as a loser. They are a nightmare to mark if I have to start checking every score at the end of racing.

A league table will be posted each night on this thread with that day's results and a cumulative update from previous days.

This is free to enter for anybody and any queries please let me know.

I don't study form,so a lot of these punts are instinct,and by looking at the trainers/jockeys.

No Ruby Walsh this year after his retirement,but Paul Townend has every chance of being top jockey,and Mullins top trainer,the Irish have a real love affair with Cheltenham.
