I think a lot of it’s about a totally different challenge ,lifestyle etc while playing for another big European club .And though la liga ain’t as strong as the prem it’s no pub league .

I think Tripps has had a big influence on AM. They now play like Burnley.

Which EPL teams showed a serious interest,i don't recall any,Atletico are a regular CL team,and usually go deep in the comp,that probably played a role in his decision.

Tripps is a better defender for going to Spain and he needed to improve at the highest level.

That display by that keeper was one of the worst i have ever seen three shots three goals :lol:and the Liverpool twelfth man the famous Anfield kop...quiet as church mouses all game...i hate all scousers
