Daniele Rugani tested positive - Covid-19

Post by ecc » Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:53 am

Apologies to those people who find Coronavirus so amusing especially the fact that Italy is the worst-hit country in Europe.

A worthless country for many on here, "third world" indeed as the great Prophet Jeremy Clarkson states.

Whatever. Juve defender Daniele Rugani has been tested positive.

I wish him and all victims of this illness and ALL illnesses as speedy a recovery as possible.

Forza Daniele!

I'm sure that Rugani, being a young and fit man will suffer hardly at all as a result. Not putting it down but this disease is not exactly the Black Death, still only relatively few people suffer badly and only a very small percentage actually have it in a life threatening way. It's wise to be cautious of course and we can all help with that, but I can't help feeling, rightly or wrongly, that there appears to be a certain amount of hysteria over something that many people can and have had and not even known.

By the way when did Clarkson say that about Italy, I thought he loved the place and once said 'to be born male and Italian is like winning the lottery of life'.

Rugani isn’t at risk. There are however lots of people who are. Which is why people should care about limiting the spread as much as possible. Hysteria? No. A collective Proper effort to protect those at risk? Yes please, and before it’s too late would be good.

Wanted to delete my post but couldn't for some odd reason so just got rid of the text. See my post below as I read your original post wrong.

Apologies mate. On re-reading your post I realise now I read it wrong. You are of course right. Most of us will be fine but yes, even one life is too many.

Just a question about the site - does it only give you a limited time to delete one of your own posts? Wanted to get rid of one of mine I posted in error but it wouldn't let me (no option). I have deleted posts before though.
