Red champ was always my favourite, that and Roller Coaster Tycoon got me through my early teens when I was permanently grounded. Played a bit of the original Sims as well

Sim hospital and rollercoaster tycoon were great.

Champ 97 was the best though. Must have unwittingly spent years in isolation already playing them.

Haha I once skipped school to complete a full season against a lad on my road. We’ve both ended up doing alright in life and I put it down to our miss spent youth as ‘managers’

I did 16 seasons once as a 2 player with my mate on Champ Man. We went so long they had made up computer generated names!

My mate actually left school to ‘concentrate on his champ manager career’. Came out one day. Threw his bag over someone’s wall ‘won’t be needing that any more’. 100% true story.

He did alright. ( In the end  )

I'm on Red Dead Redemption 2 battling the O'Driscoll posse down at Horseshoe Gulch.

Interestingly I've just ran over and killed 2 ladies on a horse and cart, I'd had a couple of Moonshines admittedly. I protested my innocence but the fuzz came and it escalated. I shot 1 copper in the face with my shotgun and hogtied the other before riding off with him lasooed to my horse and leaving him on a train line 2 miles away.

Amazingly I returned to the town the next day to find I'd only been fined $25 for 4 murders.

I'm not f**king paying that.

Not properly (unlike some friends!!) I think I played TW:Rome on an old PC many years ago. I’ll put it on my list.

Is it bad to hope for 14 days not 7?

I got hooked on Stardew Valley in early January whilst recovering from an op, highly recommended. As too was Disco Elysium.

I haven't got any time at the moment to play anything save for a quick do on Rocket League but the releases that are coming out in the next few weeks look rather tasty, Doom Eternal, The Last Of Us 2, Wasteland 3, Nioh 2, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Resident Evil 3 remake and Final Fantasy 7 remake, all out before June, plus this Half Life Alyx thing on VR Good time for gamers.

Started watching a Disco Elysium playthrough. Got half an hour in and thought 'nope. This is too good. I'll wait for console' (I don't have a decent PC). There's nothing wrong with a bit of mindless fun but too many games attempting to rise above COD end up insulting your intelligence. This isn't one of them from what I gather. It looks like playing through a fantastically written book from what I've seen. Am I wrong?

Also, Hollow Knight. Amazing. One of the most beautiful games I've ever played.

I've yet to play Hollow Knight but will get round to it this year if i can find the time, looks brilliant and is consistantly atop the modern platformer 'best of' lists. Ori and the Blind Forest, Dead Cells and Shovel Knight are seemingly loosely similar games, albeit with a bit more combat, i can't recommend them highly enough.

Disco Elysium, you're not wrong at all. An utterly brilliant detective future dystopian RPG. Everything oozes quality, its a work of art like nothing ive really played before. It grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go of you. The story, dialogue, progression, design, locals....its a phenomenal effort. When people talk of Planetscape: Torment from 1999 never being bested in 20 years and then this comes along and becomes 'the new Planetscape', you know something magical is afoot.

I'm playing Tomb Raider Anniversary.

Has anyone played Legend or Underworld, the other games in that series?
