Make more sense for her to get the money back to help pay for the coffin. They let you keep the card!

Wouldn't surprise me if the club puts back the 'Early Bird' cut off. They could lose out otherwise. Anyone who normally buys their ST late certainly won't buy any earlier, but if there's a later 'Early Bird' incentive, they might. So the club might still benefit.

I would normally have bought mine by now, but as yet, I haven't done.

Surely you buy your season ticket for whenever the season starts, that could be August, September, January 2021 or whenever the season starts.
I think the club need to make an announcement on the position though.

With people likely to be off work for a couple of months shortly, paying for a ST you might not use isn't the best of ideas.
Every penny will count soon enough.

Burnley's ticket office is a mess at the best of times. Don’t expect them to do sensible things now.

Exactly the same with us with 4 tickets.

If they dont put the date back will just write to cancel and take it game by game next season.

As things are going will be plenty of spaces in Bob Lord next season

Tried to renew mine online Saturday. Got as far as payment and entered card details etc., then when I clicked on proceed nothing happened.Basket was still showing price of ticket. This occurred on two occasions an hour apart. Anyone else having a problem?

It needs to be sorted on whether we have to pay our 2 remaining direct debit payments.

In the club statement last week when the games were cancelled it said Further details regarding re-arranged games and potential refunds will be announced early next week

Know the relates mainly to the City game but would think announce the remaining games as well

There isn't a cat in hells chance the season gets finished now. And if people are going to locked down, then every penny counts.

If the season doesnt get finished properly it will devalue the competition in my eyes. All the work put in for the season would be undone. I think I might well lose interest. I don’t expect others to agree of course. Cancel Euros etc as they haven’t started but the PL and other leagues need to be concluded properly and behind closed doors if necessary.

Continue the season from March next year and call it season 19/21

More use if they got back to normal and started playing behind closed doors matches as soon as possible. Those of us with regular jobs at regular pay are expected to work as normal, as far as possible - or else not work at all if our jobs have gone (I'm one of the lucky ones, can work at home as I have an office job) - and so the ridiculously high paid can go to work as soon as practicable so that the rest of us have something to watch when we can't go out.

They could make some arrangement with Sky Sports as well, tp put something on freeview or highly discounted prices. Perhaps make Sky Sports Mix available to all via Freeview, even if there are perhaps 2 matches out of each round of fixtures; perhaps show a bucketload of lower league football too. They can make it illegal for pubs to show matches to avoid large numbers congregating.

Who pays and who gets compensation for what, is something that can be sorted out somehow. These things can be worked round.

(I think they could experiment with fake crowd noise too. I bet it could be done!)

Obviously footballers are not immune but if they could get back to playing behind closed doors in a month or so I think it would give a lot of people in this country a lift. People who are desperate for one at the moment.

The Chinese league starts again soon so why will it take us until 2022 to start again ...or does that not suit your agenda ?

Pause your payments. No point paying for something that is not there. I wonder how it all works with the season on hold and not likely to resume anytime fast.

In todays press conference Uk ‘s chief medical officer said suppression of the virus could take 18 months so that takes us to within 3 months of 2022. Throughout this crisis things have tended to get worse than expected so 2022 is entirely feasible.

Answer the question ..

If the Chinese and South Koreans have the problem under control in four months or so why can't the UK ?

The Chinese are resuming league football on April the 18th ..

Doesn't suit your agenda though does it?

Yesterday someone on TV said 250,000 UK citizens would die today a full day later it has become 20,000

Time the UK authorities pulled their collective finger out and followed the South Korean example

There's a very powerful reason why football might well be back before then. The players.

Why did it stop so quickly? The players. They're a precious lot, and this early postponement was driven from the top, the Premier League, the highest paid of all. It's well know that the more you pay a player, the fewer games he is able to play without getting tired, the more likely he is to be injured when someone touches him, and the less he wants to play.

But it's up to Sky - they haven't paid their final instalment for this season yet, and they certainly won't pay any instalments for next season if nothing has happened. So it needs to be explained to these players that they are no longer on £250,000 per week, they are now on Statutory Sick Pay of £94 per week, and until they start playing again they won't get any more. I think they'd decide to start up again.

(Though if Mason Mount and Declan Rice are representative of the intelligence of players, I think it might be hard to get the point across.)
