A game I know nothing about because I didn't.go and those members of my family who did have never said anything about it.

Re: ARTICLE: Double hopes crash after Ewood Park defeat
I was a twelve year old and went over on a very crowded train with some friends. Because of the crowds we got onto the ground very late and our view of the game wasnt that good. I honestly don't remember much about the game apart from the fact that it was the first time I had seen extra time at a game. The defeat was disappointing, not because it was the Rovers, but because we were out of the cup, which in those days was a massive competition.

Yes doubly difficult to accept defeat after being 3 nil up in the first game at Turf Moor. Biggest disappointment as a young supporter until we failed in the 1962 run-in and handed the title to Ipswich. Good preparation for being a Burnley supporter!?

Been said by supporters and players that it was our worst performance of the season.
