Re: The footy is back.....game on!!!
I saw this earlier - how does it work. Interesting to see teams you would not normally hear much about. Be interesting to see Grimsby playing Benfica or Willem11 playing Morecambe. And why are the Barstewards in it and not us? All very odd.

We are on the list Ian between Brizzle Woevers and Burton Albion....

We got Shrewsbury
Swindon are off to Benfica
The club are also doing a “Back to the Fixture” on Saturday and live tweeting a historic game

Now you know Burnley fans don't do alphabets, haven't you seen em trying to find their seats at away games?

We are playing Shrewsbury and I think a palyer from each club represnts them in a FIFA knock out comp. Think the matches will be streamed for those who are interested. My guess is Dwight will represent Burnley
No interest in FIFA but I thought it was a good idea to get fans and players involved in something and I posted as a lot of people on here love anything that involves our club or any of our players so thought they would be some interest

The club nominated a pro e-sports person to represent them.

I think it’s great but I hope they stick with the real squads and don’t do what they do for the “official” e-sports games where they build the teams with the best players so end up with every team having virtually the same playersDevils_Advocate wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 11:54 amWe are playing Shrewsbury and I think a palyer from each club represnts them in a FIFA knock out comp. Re: The footy is back.....game on!!!
Could do it as a draft which would possibly be a fairer way to go about it?

Re: The footy is back.....game on!!!
I believe they are keeping with original squads but making their ratings all match so noone has the advantage of better players but to anyone watching it is the teams proper players. I dont play any console games so not sure how this is done but it sounds the right thing

Have all clubs done this cos I thought the idea was it was all players from the clubs themselves? Its a bit sh*tty if its just gonna be a load of gamers representing a team they have nowt to do withGodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 11:59 amThe club nominated a pro e-sports person to represent them.

Re: The footy is back.....game on!!!
I saw a tweet somewhere where someone said the remaining PL games should be played on FIFA and Soccer Saturday should cover the games.
Imagine Phil T doing the Liverpool Burnley game. “That’s Westwoods fourth of the game, Liverpool 4 Burnley 18”

Every club can nominate a player or a fan to play for them, we have nominated a Burnley fan who is really good at fifa. Maybe a good chance of some silverware this season!

Re: The footy is back.....game on!!!
The club invited entries and held a competition over 2 or 3 weeks with the champion now being our representative. The guy is BFC fan having come through quite a few rounds to earn the right.

Quite a few notable absentees. Did Liverpool claim that they had already won it and don't need to play? No Arsenal?
Other than us, I'm hoping for a good run for Waterford and Atalanta, and in the absence of NAC, Dordrecht and Excelsior wanting Sparta Rotterdam to get tonked (even if they are playing Brighton).

Most of the absentees are because of the organiser's main sponsor.timshorts wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 2:05 pmQuite a few notable absentees. Did Liverpool claim that they had already won it and don't need to play? No Arsenal?

From tilburg. I used to visit the town about twice a year. Small shorts supported them as his Dutch team and as we were in the nl regularly he has a few tilburg kits from the 2000's in small sizes.
