We were in Asda Monday evening and there was a woman who had 4 huge cases of diet coke in her trolley.
Lets's just say she had a build that suggested low calorie drinks may be something of a novelty choice for her..
What's the point of allowing three of each item per customer?

WTO terms? Stop it, you tease.
This is a time to be worrying about your elderly relatives and panic buying, not getting us all excited about a clean break from the EU!!
Re: What's the point of allowing three of each item per customer?
Zzzzz. Thread about panic buying gets turned back to Brexit.

It’s really helpful when I have to go and buy essentials for my family, my parents and parents in law and means 4 vulnerable people don’t need to leave the house.Spijed wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 12:34 pmAbsolutely stupid of the supermarkets to do this!
Anyone who has the chance will simply get three hand sanitizers, three bottles of hand wash, three packets of pasta & three packets of rice and everything will disappear in minutes!
Why not limit it to ONE essential item.
Utter madness!

I’ve continued to shop as normal and despite not being able to get any pasta, I haven’t found it too difficult to get the other stuff I need. I think it’s been mentioned already but I bet you’d find toilet roll and such items quite easily at a Londis or petrol station etc as all the herd mentality drongos will be too busy racing to ASDA.

Not sure how accurate it is but I heard that Waitrose are limiting food sales to people with detached houses

Johnson has said recently there won't be an extension:

Okay - I know we can't believe a word he says, but this is just a few days ago.
Why can't we have a PM who just tells the truth?

My wife is one of them. Went to ASDA tonight, managed to get 41 of the 68 items on the list! We haven’t stockpile a thing... mainly because we there’s nothing left to stockpile!SammyBoy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 10:17 pmI’ve continued to shop as normal and despite not being able to get any pasta, I haven’t found it too difficult to get the other stuff I need.
