Now I’m confused ( not that that’s difficult)

I had the name of a player Woodrow in my head, which would have fit the first and letter rule. I didn't post it because it didn't sound quite right. Woodworth as the player I was thinking of and calling him Woodrow.

Bill Dodd never made a first team appearance, but was a regular in the Reserves, scoring two hat-tricks, including one against t'Rovers ! He also turned out regularly for the ex-Clarets XI. He died in 2015, the year before his daughter Sara was appointed a Circuit Judge, of which he's have been immensely proud, a lovely man.
