I never have but I read an article today suggesting that people did.

I had a Bene and hot in The Savoy in London.
Was on a night out and saw it was an ingredient in one of their cocktails so asked and they brought me out a Benedictine and a jug of hot water. Reckon they don’t sell many in there!
