The Bookclub bargain

Post by IanMcL » Sat Mar 21, 2020 3:09 pm

The 'bookclub' I use has currently a bargain offer.

1 year subscription for just £50. You can try for shorter periods.

I tried on a 24 hour pass originally so I could watch, sorry read the Clarets on TV.

Never looked back.

The books cover all channels, series, movies etc. Even an Adult book club, for those inclined, for a one off £8, it says.

My club is £30 a year - and has a lot of extra bits on it.

If the quality is HD, what are the extra bits? There are only so many ingredients.

Similar to all book clubs. They charge a price and offer a panel to run it on

Each offer different panels (layout) but use the same feeds

Cannot quite agree with that.

When I used kodi and got 'free' links, they were usually poor, average at best Mobdro for example.

Sportsmania was a step up.
My current book club is excellent quality.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the bookclub Ian is recommending here. I am also a member and it is excellent quality. It has had its issues but they seem to have been ironed out and more content is being added all the time. Just make sure you have a good speed of broadband first to make it worthwhile.

Funnily enough, my brother in law relies on me for his techno upgrades. I set his Firestick up for him, with Kodi and Sportsmania, until Bitcoin beat us both!

Then, on here, the book club was recommended, although by a different name. I was amazed and sorted my brother in law. He told his son. His son went to work and told his colleagues....

What app do you use on your Firestick to help you read these books?

Choice of SD/HD/UHD chapters.
Sports sections which are translated into arabic, French, English, US, Romanian .... and pretty much any other language.

A dedicated live stream of current books with a one click (no hassle) option of trawling through links.

An on demand section which saves the best bits of big book launches for viewing at any time ... along with many full books and series of books to watch at your convenience.

All family books, Documentary style books from UK and USA, musical books etc ... about 4000 live books.

And always having features added - i’m Pretty sure they are trying to add on a function where you can saveyoir own choice of a live reading of books to listen back to later.

Good stuff.
The book club I use does that too, so we can all prosper via these book clubs. Mine is busy adding more stock, everyday, since the discerning users had a change of requirement! Much content is being enhanced to vast content!

As long as folk belong to a book club that is reliable, the choice is theirs.

Thanks for your update bfccrazy. Good to know bookclubs are thriving.
