The BBC rumour page has a report that has originated in the Daily Star, suggesting that Chris Wood is being considered as a replacement for Aubameyang.

For a mid to lower Premier League team Chris Wood’s goalscoring record is amazing.

I’ll be honest I have my doubts about him playing for one of the big clubs, but Arsenal, who knows.

I've often wondered how good Wood would be in a team that created a lot of chances. His conversion rate is excellent, not sure his all round game would be up to it though.

Aubameyang hasn't got the pace of Wood... So there could be some truth in this.
