Anyone stuck abroad has had at least a week or two to get home. It’s been obvious for about 2 weeks all international travel will end. My advice now if you’re stuck around the U.K. is to get home now before domestic travel ends if it indeed does.

We might need help if BA cancel that one. :D

I was due to fly out with Emirates to Thailand on 10 April. Very peeved off that we can't go now but somewhat glad it didn't happen midway through our trip. Sounds like a nightmare for those stuck out there! Has Thailand introduced a lockdown like the UK? I can't see that they have.

Not yet but the PM is making an announcement on Thursday which is anticipated to include some form of lockdown. What has already been announced is that any foreigner entering Thailand must have a certificate, issued in the previous 72 hours stating they are free from the virus.
Shopping malls have already been closed and further measures will be announced on Thursday.

Of course I'm not surprised...still doesn't stop me from being annoyed that our big holiday has been cancelled which we had been waiting on for many months, but it's nobody's fault.

I understand as from Thurs 26th March they will be preventing you returning to your home province or else you will face penalties.
There will be checkpoints on the way.

My son is travelling back into Bangkok on the 26th.
I assume the above will apply to Thai nationals only.
I have told him to load his boarding ticket on his phone so that he can prove he is on his way to the airport.
Surely that will satisfy the Thai checkpoints?

Then there is the small matter of trying to survive in Bangkok for 3 days.
