Bonkers if true.
Re: Burnley players training as normal
Seems a bit silly.

Not for much longer
Re: Burnley players training as normal
Surely as a player you wouldn't be happy with that. I really can't see that happening.

They'll all be being tested on a regular basis, one assumes.

No doubt they will be keeping two meters apart from each other.

That will be pretty easy for Ben Mee - it’s the way he marks most of the opposition !!conyoviejo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 8:46 amNo doubt they will be keeping two meters apart from each other.
(That’s a joke btw - I love Ben Mee !!)

Really should stop.
Sends out completely the wrong message
Football is not essential despite what anyone says.

On the Burnley web site they say they have been training at home since last Tuesday and for the foreseeable future. Not sure where the TV gets its information from.

Most will have a treadmill and spinning bike at home I'd have thought, I doubt they'd be too concerned about spending 2-3k on Gym equipment for the Garage, even if it does mean the R8 has to sit on the drive
Re: Burnley players training as normal
If thats the case shouldnt the club make that clear especially in the light of the Sky report.

Posted on Facebook by the club this morning.
UPDATE | Our squad last trained together on Tuesday last week, before being given a few days off with their families.
It has since been decided they will remain at home with individual fitness programmes until at least 6th April.
Please stay safe with your loved ones.

Team doctors recommending 5 weeks training before play resumes or there will be muscle injuries.
Re: Burnley players training as normal
I assume their individual training sessions will be monitored with all this technology, no hiding place these days. I think we'll all be in lockdown anyway within the next few days.

That sounds about right, that's roughly a pre-season programme,i guess they'll start off with light training, and gradually build up over the weeks, they definitely couldn't go straight back into competitive action, not after months with their feet up.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 1:22 pmTeam doctors recommending 5 weeks training before play resumes or there will be muscle injuries.
