Disney +
If you've got school-age children at home,it might be worth considering subscribing to this channel, well their offer is still available.
You'll have to be quick though as today's the last day to get the discount,it launches officially in the UK from tomorrow.
There is also plenty of content for teenagers, and for adults there is every episode of the Simpsons over 600 in total,it's not just entertainment they've also got plenty of documentaries to educate and amuse.
And crucially you can stream to 4 screens at once, very useful to avoid family arguments,or if someone in the household is self-isolating.

This is just an idea as i suspect many people will be struggling to keep the young ones occupied in the coming weeks and months.

not sure I'll bother, based on the fact that there are predictions on here that between 1 and 2M will die from this virus and I'm one of the 1.5M who received notification that I'm classed as extremely vulnerable I'll save myself £50 thanks

Re: Disney +
Disney made some interesting announcements about future shows and films yesterday.
Really looking forward to a lot of the new stuff, especially the numerous Star Wars series, the new Rogue Squadron film and the Marvel stuff.

Just cancelled ours.
They really need to sort their UHD bitrates out - the picture quality for ‘so-called’ 4K is terrible.

If you’re going to die, then splash out and watch it. Can’t take the cash with you.

We got it for our little one and has been well worth the investment. She absolutely loves it especially the old classics.

Re: Disney +
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse has been a bit of a lifesaver through the pandemic. Agreed with the above point that the picture rate isn’t fantastic and the layout generally isn’t as user friendly as Netflix etc
Re: Disney +
I signed up for the Mandalorian and other Starwars / Marvel Franchise stuff... enjoyed The Right Stuff on Nat Geographic too.
Not sure whether I will sign on for another year in March though ... will probably go for Amazon prime instead ...

Re: Disney +
They've just launched Star on Disney+, got all the grown up content, things like Con Air, Family Guy, etc.
I also get to renew at the same price I paid last year so that's a bargain.

In the papers on Sunday it said it was going up for everyone... my contract runs till May am going to cancel if it goes upGodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 10:04 amOnly for the new people.
I paid up front for the year when they launched it and because of that I get to renew at the same price of £60.
For the quality of content, especially with Star added, that's a bargain.

Re: Disney +
Just checked mine and I'm getting the same rate as Sid for the next year, although I remember I pre ordered it last year.
Interestingly, when I signed in on the website it asked if I wanted to authorise the 18+ material on Star.
Are Disney getting into the grot business?
Quite chuffed they have The Grand Budapest Hotel on there. Possibly my favourite film.

Re: Disney +
Nah, it's to stop the kids watching Die Hard 2,3 and 4.
Weirdly they don't have the first one on there
There are 3 accounts on mine, so I've set 3 to 18+ and my daughters stays as the kids account.
I don't think I've ever watched The Grand Budapest Hotel though.
If you like Family Guy, you should try Solar Opposites, that's very funny
