Time for a Music Thread - Songs with Pedal Steel Guitar
Time for a Music Thread - Songs with Pedal Steel Guitar
After a recent discussion on the Genesis reunited thread I thought we should have a music thread. We did a pedal steel thread on ClaretsMad but I can't find it. Only one rule: there must be pedal steel guitar in the song. We could perhaps stretch to slide guitar and dobro.
As an opening gambit I offer the following:
Geoff & Maria Muldaur - Blue Railroad Train - on pedal steel Ben Keith:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoY4jhII41k
Neil Young - Heart of Gold - also Ben Keith:

Pedal steel is one of those instruments , like Hammond organ, that always sounds great when it pops up on a record.
