Leicester and Reading??

You're on season before us I think?

I'm struggling in prem 16th at the minute.

Got too younger team I think, also CB isnt up to usual standards n new GK cant speak english yet.

Should stay up , but it's not going to be easier to get players in if flirting with relegation, I thought I'd be comfortable mid table

At Rovers now too, get behind us!

Oh dear, their win takes them to 4th after 12, I'm just above the drop zone.

They absolutely battered us 4-1, but it's only 2002, our time will come I promise you.
Give me time

You'll get the proper original 1 I'm on then.

I'm interested to see how you get on, and which players etc you use.

The Blackburn defeat was a major kick up the arse, I took 7 points from the next 3 games.

Struggling to hammer it at the moment as weather is nice so staining and walking to do.
Wait until the weather dips, and I've got first few difficult seasons out if the way, then I'll fly through it

great win hatrick apiece for Andreas Alm and Dunwell. Tight at the top, can't seem to break away.

Looking good fellas!

Finally got going on CM 03/04 as Roma. Early days yet but joint second in the league so far (should be top but threw away a 1-0 lead the Delle Alpi) and through the first round of the Uefa Cup.

Tight budget but signed a couple of kids, Riccardo Montolivo AMLC and Felipe DLC.

Its not quite Burnley in the prem though...

Imagine the scenes as Burnley come from behind to score 2 late goals at Elland road to win.
Takes Burnley up to 9th on to 38 points from 26 games, 12 clear of 18th, and survival all but confirmed.

If not a few players

Donisis Chiotis big contract until 2011

Mike Duff, RB, 100k fee, 6k a week wages, contract to 2011

Taribo West, play at LB, will be all you need for 5 seasons
Get him on 6 year deal, 12k a week and 250k a signing in fee

Roberto Palacious, free, LW 7 year deal. Give 250k signing on fee

Steven reid RW , same 2011 contract if poss

Michael Dunwell Bishop Auckland, might sign new contract with min release fee.

Others that you should get if possible and will be good on long deals.

Hugo Pinheroe GK

Fredrick Risp sweedish CB
Tommy johnson LCB
Clint Hill tranmere LCB
Steve Blatherwick chesterfirld CB
Mark kerr Falkirk CM

Clarets fans around the world rejoice, I've delivered in my promise, and with that we clamber to 6th in the table.

They didn't even register a shot or corner.
Comprehensive a 1-0 you'll ever see

Check your passports are in date, you might be needing them

Finished 10th in my first season and lost Mark Kerr in the summer for £1mil to Sheffield Wednesday (Totally forgot to check the release clause when signing him)

That front three is one big goal machine.

Going to the wire in the second season...

Can't you do network games on some of the Championship/Football Manager games?

As in, a few of you are playing the same game at the same time?

He isn't even on my game.

Gould do with a striker like that, especially as he is European so no caps needed.

Maxim tsigalko is similar but cant get him being English team until he gets a second nationality elsewhere.
Then he gets expensive and bigger fish come calling.

This is the guy on our version. Similar stats/goals oer game, however you cznt get a work permit to get him at 18 from dianamo Minsk for 1m.

So you need to wait until he moves on for a few years first, or if you start a game in a league abroad.

I'll probably miss out on him if he gets much better as Barca and Co will come calling

This is my current squad

Make sure you make squad selections and subs based on condition

Look out for re-gens of retired players....

Use your scouts to tell you a position, for example if you account a right sided CDM and then he report comes back as...

So so thinks right back Kerion Dyer....

He’s a right back!

Graeme Souness - "it will have hurt every single Rovers supporter today who came today, and only saw just how far Burnley are infront of us at the moment in terms of quality on the pitch "

Speaking after his side are comprehensively beaten as burnley go 2 clear of Manchester United at the top of the table.

Finally finished my first season on 03/04 game as Roma.

Cup winners
Uefa Cup runners up (lost to Dinamo Kyiv)
Serie A winners

Unsurprisingly Totti was the star of the show but a young Giampaolo Pazzini (January signing for £11m) bagged 18 goals in 16 league games to help push us over the line.
