The adoration of Trump by his supporters is akin to Elizabeth Fritzl’s “love” for her father. The rest of us can se what he did was so very wrong whilst she suffered at his hands and still loved him because she thought it was normal and right.
Trump is an absolute nut job, but whilst you feel the “love” whilst he and his minions are raping the USA you just love the feel of his small hands on your titties

Just when you think he can't make the mess he's made of everything worse, he comes up with this.
He's unravelling pretty quickly now and could get more dangerous!
Hopefully he'll just go down in American history as only their greatest embarrassment and not something worse.

According to Huffington Post, Trumps campaign team have asked members of the public to submit short videos wishing the President a happy birthday next week (14th June, if anyone wants to send him a card)

It's worth wondering how come Trump was watching some weird niche channel where the presenter appears to be a computer with a Russian accent

Aside from the guy being an absolute idiot, it’s worrying to see these constant videos of him unable to do the most basic things, there was a video of him trying to walk down a ramp yesterday and he could hardly do it.
I suspect he’s got bigger problems than just his IQ which is sad to see in anybody.

Trump will be 78, Biden 81 by the end of the next term.
Pretty unbelievable that it’s a contest between these two for that reason alone.

Re: Donald Trump
More than 'mildly concerning' in my book. Trump's a loose cannon and Biden's no bargain either. Biden speaks ok when reading from a script, when he has to ad lib, it's a bit of a disaster, constantly forgetting words, usually reverting to a more simple word. At least Biden may listen to his advisors if elected, unlike the orange idiot.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 7:38 pmIndeed. Always saw John Bolton described as an ultra hawk. A hot head, who wouldn’t shy away from deploying US troops under the flimsiest pretexts. So it’s interesting to see he’s written a book about his stint in the Trump Whitehouse:

Re: Donald Trump
Could Trump be re-elected, the polls suggest not, but the polls stated similar in 2016, and he bucked the trend then, so it would be foolish to write him off, the one thing he is good at is campaigning, and engaging his base to vote, so if and when the 2020 campaign kicks off in earnest, then we could see his fortunes improve, Biden is hardly a massively popular pick for the Dems either, so it could well hinge on turn-out, and Trump has the base support there, and they will vote, can anybody predict with confidence the Biden support is as engaged and certain to vote in large numbers, it's long been a problem for the Dems in getting their vote out, Obama managed to buck the trend in 2008 and 2012, but Hillary didn't in 2016, and she lost several key swing states due to complacency, you'd have thought the Dems would have learned from this experience, but the fact they picked Biden as their candidate raises question marks over this.

On the other side, not knowing the UK is a nuclear power, or that Finland is independent (if Bolton is reporting accurately) speaks of a level of stupidity in Trump that should shame American people (and it does for most of those I know), but Trump’s base support shows there is a large group of US voters brainwashed or stupid (likely both) enough to vote for him regardless of what he says and does. A bit like the U.K. So yes, it’ll hinge on people getting out to vote against him.

He 'handpicked' two of those, too.
Hopefully, behind the scenes, his own lot are wanting shut.
He's unravelling at speed.
Most reasonable, rational people knew what an oaf he was before his election.

I don't disagree with your critique, but i do have to query whether Biden would be an better, that's what's so depressing.
I despair at the state of UK politics sometimes, but then i see what's happening across the pond, and think maybe we're not so bad after all.

Accused the supreme court of political bias.
What a prick. The supreme court has a 5 to 4 conservative tilt. And mondays historic ruling on lgbtq rights in the work place had a 6 to 3 vote against the administration. Gorsich wrote the majority opinion,he was a Trump appointee
It would be funny if it wasnt so sad

He's doing his best to strip the US of it's democracy now he's stripped it of it's credibility.
US politics has always been a tough, 'wild west' full-of-crap thing, with their false moral compasses always pointing wherever it suits, but it really unbelievable what he's getting away with.

After the impeachment failed, the orange lunatic must have figured if he got away with that, he could get away with anything! Sanctioning a full blown re-election rally in Oklahoma is solid proof he's only interested in getting re-elected, too hell with spreading COVID, which he seems to think has disappeared.
As for Uwe's comment on Biden, agreed.........he's no bargain either, certainly showing some signs of memory loss. These are the best two a country of 300+ million can come up with?? Or maybe no one else wants the job?

They all seem ok taking his crap for short term personal gains
The list goes on. Parallels to Germany in the late 20s/30s.

Would be funny if Trump & Barr had a public fight & he sacked him.
It's a bit difficult to keep up with who he's sacking or driving out of office.
