Yep.
Noticed a 2-0 Pieman Victory earlier.
Sometimes Saturdays are good days even without a Clarets win.

GoP won't bin their own sitting Pres.
He'll still be a useful idiot for the real power brokers with the money.
It'll hopefully be the people in Nov, unless Trump breaks down completely and gets sectioned or,karmer plays a hand and he gets a bad dose of the virus.

US network TV (CBS, NBC,ABC) is pitiful IMHO, I watch quite a few PBS broadcasts, head and shoulders above network crap. I've also seen several Brit shows recently, Bancroft, Bodyguard and The Victim, Yanks could only dream about producing quality like that.claptrappers_union wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 5:46 pmAmerican TV is odd, the good TV is bloody brilliant, it’s not-so-good TV is the pits

You're talking about a country that spends trillions fighting wars around the world, including those under false pretences, and prides itself on that so there is no way the military is going to remove Trump over this.
The US does stuff worse than this every year but now they're upset because potentially someone's doing it back to them...

LOL. More fake news from Politico after another "unsourced" story about Russian bounties in the NYT. Let's see how Trump does once his opponent emerges from his basement and actually does an interview. There are genuine concerns about his mental capacity and just how in hock to the BLM agenda his party now is. Law abiding Americans can see the fruits of progressivism all around them right now. I don't see them voting for that.Spijed wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2020 10:50 pmReally does look like Trump knows he's unlikely to win another term

Re: Donald Trump
137,500,000 people voted in the 2016 Presidential Election, 29.1 million of whom were Black/Latino voters, who went heavily for Clinton ( Black voters by 89% - 11% ), but the Black voter turnout decreased from 66.6% to 59.6% ... It looks like the Democrats are going to select another Washington insider who'll be 78 by the time the next President is sworn in.
The Democrats need to win back these missing voters, and more .... despite his links to Trump, it's not beyond reason that having Kayne West on the ballot could take millions of Black, Latino and under 35's votes, and put " The Donald " back in the White House !

Re: Donald Trump
Well if the Dems keep picking ageing establishment candidates, and the alternative is Trump, another 70+ year old establishment figure, no matter how much he plays the man of the people card, then someone like Kanye West could hoover up a lot of votes, a lot depends on Biden's VP pick, we know his running mate will be female, but beyond that it's a mystery just now.Clarets4me wrote: ↑Sun Jul 05, 2020 8:56 am137,500,000 people voted in the 2016 Presidential Election, 29.1 million of whom were Black/Latino voters, who went heavily for Clinton ( Black voters by 89% - 11% ), but the Black voter turnout decreased from 66.6% to 59.6% ... Says he is?
And he is one of the rare supporters of colour Trump has (had).
Concensus seems to be it's Biden he'd hurt.
So maybe he'll run on that and do a deal with Trump for a slot in Trumps despotic regime?
The fireworks those two egos colliding would cause might be interesting if it happened anywhere else but in the Government of a super power.
We've really picked a good time to quit the EU.

Just asking about invasions because previous presidents have kept on mucking about in the middle East making things worse but their ability to lead the country wasn't questioned.

Bush is obviously a given. But the biggest criticism of Obama was that he drew a line in the sand over the use of chemical weapons and then did not follow through on the threat. Been wondering, since they doled out the virus dosh, when the reports would start to come in as to who were the earliest and biggest recipients.
Long before he conned his way into the White House, Trumps history with other people's money has never made very good reading.

Depressing, isn't it.
But think most people could see it coming.
A lot will have gone to people who will have to protect him, to cover themselves, once they get him out of office.
