Locked Threads

Hi Tony,

I have to say that I am very disappointed that you have caved into pressure and shut down a couple of threads on this board. Yes, the debate was spirited and some posters went a bit over the top but it was no worse than the Brexit threads which were allowed to continue.

I know that here are those who dislike political threads on this site but the answer in that case is don’t read them. No one is being forced to read them.

UTC is a message board for Burnley fans, those fans have a wide range of opinions and I see no reason why the small number of people who have complained should be able to shutdown threads that a lot of people have been enjoying.

Whilst I do not know who has complained I can hazard a guess who they are and why they have done it. By agreeing to lock the threads you are guilty of taking sides and denying people an opportunity to express their opinions.
