Things you're doing differnet at home now
I was reading about the things that people are doing differently at home now basically through the actual sale of things online and in shops before the final closedown.
Bikes, cycles an obvious one but some comments from shops in regard to the amount of repairs they were doing to older bikes to get them rod worthy again. Will this lead to revolution in transport when we start to get some normality again, personally I don't think so but expect a few will but nothing significant enough to make any environmental type changes. Home keep fit will of course be in this category
Table tennis, big jump in the sales of bats and balls as it appears people are playing on surfaces that are readily available, sales of the tables also increased. Others like pool tables also as I would expect have seen a jump in sales.
Sewing kits and craft type kits seen a big rise, ~350% and ~285% respectively, something I would also expect, expect knitting will be in this.
The one that surprised me was the sale of vegetable seeds, several online sites completely sold out, however the expectation was that this was not due to an expected shortage of vegetables but more of the people who, had for probably a long time, been planning a veg garden or indeed some deciding to do it solely due to the lockdown as "something to do" The fruits of which they wont see for quite sometime.
Of course another logical one would be paper and decorating, this one I assume will only be possible if you had stocks in the home/garage, do people buy these sorts of things online/delivery?
Anyone got an old car they've been threatening to restore for a longtime, I suppose now would be a good time if you had the tools and time.
Family games will be inevitable but in some ways better than internet and online games.
Anyone doing anything different, I read the thread on mental health so don't think we need to add reading, drinking or worrying more to this list as those were covered already.

Planting Shrimp Plant seeds - very rewarding and quite a different plant when in flower, to anything else in the garden plus loads of seeds at the end of the season ready to plant again in 2021 when the virus will just have gone ?!?!?

Boss
Silly thing is, I tried so hard to check what I wrote but of course never looked at the title bit, ohhh well, if it brings a smile to peoples faces that's good as opposed to the rage from others.

no need to be sorry Funky,
it was a mistake, would love to claim it was on purpose but...…………………. I really do have zero problem with people laughing about it, as I said I do have a problem with the spelling police and the rage from some.

Niece having a baby and the family are making a blanket of four inch squares.
Never having knitted in my life I said I’d do my own. Luckily Mrs Trevor is a genius knitter, she used to knit up Aran jumpers for a shop in Burnley, she soon had me going but it took 4 attempts before I got there. Thankfully it was knit only as I’d never get the purl.
Watching a lot of the online gigs people are putting up.

Discovered a good television app, so getting stuck into the old episodes of taggart that seems to be passing a odd hour here & there.
Re: Things you're doing differnet at home now
as you can see I haven't and wont, words like duck and back spring to mind
you do realize of course that you should have had a space between your comma and but It just would have to be the word "but" wouldn't it, I hope you're not setting a trap for me!! If you are, I wouldn't bother, I'm far to easy to catch out on spelling and punctuation

I've started an indoor herb garden.
I'm not sure which herb it is, but I believe that it is good in cakes.

Re: Things you're doing differnet at home now
I've got back into drawing and painting again.
Not heavily but I'm practicing and I enjoy the process so it doesn't matter even if it turns out crappy.
I was thinking of a starting a Confinement Art Thread actually, might do in a few days time if I've got anything worthy of posting.
I also owe ClaretTony a picture of Adam Blacklaw.

Spend hours at a time sat on the floor pitching a baseball against a wall opposite.
Ps, wish I could escape to the open (quiet) roads on my Bandit 650.
