Talking about Trawden Celtic, a great memory I had was going up to the Rec and watching the model aircrafts being flown around: dangerous at times and that’s no doubt why it ceased, but it was a wonderful spectacle.

I will no doubt unearth a lot of Trawden Celtic F.C. material alongside Colne Orpheus Glee Union and Lancashire Schools' F.A. material during the next few weeks. Lakers (Peter Laycock) and Maggots (Andrew Magill) may have more Trawden Celtic stuff, especially photos, than I have. Some Trawden Celtic F.C. photos now reside at the Cockhill Club in Trawden having been transferred there from the Sun Inn when the Sun closed a few years ago. I think some photos went missing...
