This has not been a good week for musicians. RIP Bill Withers, Ellis Marsalis and Wallace Roney.

Just listened to a few tracks . Very emotional and the sort of songs that are always with you and pick you up when they randomly play on the radio.

RIP Bill he was one of the few musicians that transcended the generations,anybody could relate to his songs whether 8 or 80,there's not many who can appeal to such a wide audience.

I loved many of Bill's tracks - Ain't No Sunshine, Grandma's hands, Better off Dead but this my favourite from 1972

A real talent and this song is about how law abiding citizens are continually let down by the people in charge, who don’t suffer consequences of their decisions. RIP a brilliant man
