New UTC Soap. Coronavirus Street...play your part

Perhaps we play have our very own part in our own soap. Not on TV, however, we can all play our part in writing the soap.

Like a soap of a similar name, it has a virtual corner shop and a virtual pub (where we already go, on the other thread) and is set in Burnley.

I'll start it off and we can see if it thrives or dies of a virus.

I left my house in Coronavirus Street and decided to take my state sponsored exercise along the canal. I was heading that way via Harry Potts Way, so decided to have a peer into the closed BFC shop. It brought back memories...

I've just been to the supermarket to get some essential groceries. A woman passed me in the aisle then meandered back and bumped into me.
"Have you not heard of social distancing"? I asked her.
"Yes" she replied " But you are so handsome I just had to touch you"
"Understandable" said I. " Here is my phone no. and I'll see you when this is all over and I'll let you touch me some more.
I drove back to Coronavirus Street feeling pretty chuffed.

Fortunately, she was not a rough woman, so I was not pretty chafed!

only despite her relatively good looks, any likelihood of a stirring passion developing soon limply subsided as I followed her out of the shop to see her mounting a bedraggled looking stallion. Sh1t. She must be a rovers fan, I thought. That's one virus I really can't afford to catch.

He was headed for the pub but I told him it was shut. The last I saw was his pink Barbie scooter disappearing into the distance. It did make a bit if a clatter over the cobbles.
I was joined by a mate.
