Swansea are a club that's putting me off, as Lampard was there on loan.

And both Ayew players also played for Swansea.

Correct.

Kasper made his Man City debut August 2007.

But by which time Barton had joined Newcastle (14 June 2007).

I wouldn't at all be surprised if it was a trick question, but a referee would be taking the p1ss.

It's an international for sure, and must be old to have played with Cole,
Clubs must include Man City, half the players on the list played for them.

Does anyone know the actual answer so we dont go round in circles?

Lampard & Duff also shouts out as Chelsea as another club likely to be included, although of course it could always be West Ham + Rovers instead.

But they were both at City in the youth set-up in 2002, so maybe that's the link?

Samaras could have been whilst at Celtic or city

The United players could be cos Sinclair has played for all the international levels other than the first team - he represented them from u17s through to u21s. He also played for GB in the 2012 Olympics.

Might be wrong but it was Swansea that made me think him

Barton played for England and City so that ticks most of the others
Just Kasper Schmeichel apparently but as Lesiure says, he played with him at youth level

Gary Neville only ever played for Man U so the player has to have played for Man U, Fowler has played abroad likewise Owen so it must be someone who saw out their career in America/Ausralia etc.

Depends on the definition of 'played with him'? They were in the same squad for the friendly with Spain in 2007, so that could be considered having done so!
