I used to enjoy watching Bobby Seith play for us. He was an unspectacular, box to box player, who got through a lot of the hard work for the team. A good tackler, who very rarely gave the ball away, a bit like Geoff Nulty in a way, every team needs one.

Bobby still has family in Lancashire, out Leyland way. They run a hard landscaping business. I met em through work a few years ago. I think the guy who owned the business was his nephew.

His wife Jean is related to Sandra Connelly (John's wife) but they also have some very good friends who live in Simonstone in Bob Lord's old house. I spoke to Seith ten years ago when he and his wife were coming to a Clarets Mad dinner and he said he would be staying with them. He said it was OK to live in Lord's old house because his friend had had it exorcised.
