Boris Johnson’s choice of films

Post by dermotdermot » Sat Apr 11, 2020 9:26 pm

Withnail and I is a good shout but I’m not so sure about the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Far to taxing. He’d be better off opting for something like The Titfield Thunderbolt or The Man in the White Suit. Something of a lighthearted nature.

Sorry, I had to change the second choice. When I returned to the post, I realised that I had inadvertently made an unintentional faux pas. Sorry if it was taken the wrong way.

We might also wonder why some newspapers are reporting on Johnson’s choice of films (they withheld from the public “Naughty Nuns of Nicaragua” and the Spanish Inquisition themed “Monsignor Smack Smack” allegedly), rather than reporting on the spiralling death toll, and asking awkward questions, like a free press is supposed to do.

Dodgeball apparently
He recently said it an interview.

This is purely a factual non funny post.

The Merry Wives of Windsor is his second favourite film - possibly...

I know I'm contributing four fifths of **** all to this, but you've posted "yawn" on two separate threads in the last hour. Why? I'm contributing less than nothing by asking, but what's your problem, KateR?

Spiral,
sorry, was having dinner but in response my post was not aimed at you in any way shape or form since you had not commented, I was simply posting the same response from another poster here since it seems to be a new way of conveying a smart response.
