Stirling Moss RIP
Motor racing great Stirling Moss has died today after a long illness at 90. When I was younger and people were driving too fast it was always: “Who do you think you are, Stirling Moss?”

Re: Stirling Moss RIP
They even did an ad (forget what it was for) where Sterling in person was pulled by a copper who muttered that very phrase. A great all-round driver in grand prix, sports cars, rallies. You name it! Lucky to survive in times when the sport was extremely dangerous. Saw him do a demo drive at the Oulton Park Gold Cup a few years ago. He was hampered for many of his later years after falling down a lift shaft at his London apartment -they were fixing the lift and the doors had been left open by mistake! But he carried on and only recently retired from the public eye. Truly a legend in his own lifetime.

Re: Stirling Moss RIP
A fact that often surprises a lot of people, in that he never won a Formula One world championship.
