As a youngster I saw a short at the cinema on Burnley training. It was in colour and had them kicking a ball against the old bogs that backed onto the cricket field. I’m interested if it is that as I’ve never been able to find it.

Yes it is . Filmed in 59. I have never seen it before and it is fantastic. Even shows a group of kids playing outside the Turf with Ray Bennion watching ( very close to where CT lived as a kid). I think I can download it onto North American Clarets on Facebook. Then you might be able to download it from there. I have asked my friend if she can put it on here.She said it was shown at the Odeon

Well done for finding the film. This is not the full 8 mins which centers around Burnley and Alex but it shows a lot of it. Anybody know who the 2 apprentices are sweeping the bee hole ?
