As a youngster I saw a short at the cinema on Burnley training. It was in colour and had them kicking a ball against the old bogs that backed onto the cricket field. I’m interested if it is that as I’ve never been able to find it.

Yes it is . Filmed in 59. I have never seen it before and it is fantastic. Even shows a group of kids playing outside the Turf with Ray Bennion watching ( very close to where CT lived as a kid). I think I can download it onto North American Clarets on Facebook. Then you might be able to download it from there. I have asked my friend if she can put it on here. She said it was shown at the OdeonTricky Trevor wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 6:00 pmAs a youngster I saw a short at the cinema on Burnley training. She said it cant be shared on UTC due to copyright but she thinks the Club might be able to share it. Hope they can. Maybe CT could ask Darren Bentley.

Available at Amazon.
I haven't got this one but I have the Transport and Military volumes. They're pretty interesting.

3 - 6 mins
...great to see past pictures of Turf Moor...also Pointer having a 'pint' in the changing room bath!
England article follows and John Connelly can be fleetingly seen a few times!

Well done for finding the film. This is not the full 8 mins which centers around Burnley and Alex but it shows a lot of it. Anybody know who the 2 apprentices are sweeping the bee hole ?
