2015 FA Cup final
Just watching 2015 cup final Arsenal vs Aston Villa on one of our cable sports channels. I didn't realise Ashley Westwood played in that game.

Re: 2015 FA Cup final
Villa were a poor side at the time
Re: 2015 FA Cup final
If I remember correctly we beat Villa the week before the Cup Final 1-0 at Villa Park. Danny Ings header I think?
Re: 2015 FA Cup final
Was that when Tim Sherwood was the manager at Villa?
He's not had much of a managerial career since that job. Mind you, he did have a long spell at the top of the pr1ck list.

On a slightly different note I caught the end of the Div.2 play off final 2014 this afternoon and Charlie Taylor was in the winning Fleetwood side against Burton. Didn't realise he had played for Fleetwood.

Never knew that either, always thought he come through the youth system at Leeds. How much did Leeds pay for him?Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 10:25 pmOn a slightly different note I caught the end of the Div.2 play off final 2014 this afternoon and Charlie Taylor was in the winning Fleetwood side against Burton. I knew he'd played for Fleetwood but didn't know he'd played in a play-off final for them.Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 10:25 pmOn a slightly different note I caught the end of the Div.2 play off final 2014 this afternoon and Charlie Taylor was in the winning Fleetwood side against Burton. Another final in the same year was in the Championship between Derby & QPR. Jeff Hendrick, Lee Grant played for Derby while Patrick Bamford came on as a late sub with Adam Legzdins the unused sub goalkeeper. Opponents QPR included Joey Barton and Charlie Austin.
