I read that earlier. Surely something will have to give with the UCI; they are currently hoping to reschedule the Tour, Giro, Vuelta and the postponed monuments into three months along with the World Championships currently planned for September. I don't see how that can be possible

Had no choice now Macron has extended the ban on mass gatherings to mid-July,i can't see footy or any other sports commencing there in the near future either, unless they opt to go behind closed doors, and even then there's the risk of fans assembling outside the venues.

Your right there, the weather will also be a factor the later we go in the year, if they all take place. I read also somewhere that they were thinking of stopping spectators, not sure that would apply with the later date.

Yes, also read about the 'behind closed doors' but how on earth can they do that when it's raced on public roads? Have a water cannon at the front of the peleton?

We were booked for all 3. Budapest and Paris now cancelled. Fingers crossed for Madrid.
Could end up with a muppet winning one of them if all 3 are virtually back to back. Big decisions to be made about what riders to send where as support to the team leader.

The Alps and Pyrenees in September might be a bit tricky.

Muppet?
Your not going to get the stars doing 3 and some won’t want to do 2 so close. Only needs a couple of incidents to top men and a muppet is going to pick up a career defining victory.

I’m Animal on tge drums.
I get your point they are all absolute monsters but grand tours shouldn’t be won by domestiques, imo.

I watched the Moviestar documentary this week on Netflix 2019 racing.. yes behind the scenes a lot of tetchyness egos and disobeying orders. Good viewing. It got me off my ar$e and on my bike! :D and I came in first!!
