Corona Virus in Mauritius and other Indian Ocean Islands

As per latest medical report thesatistics stands as follows :

Death : 9 (mostly imported )

Active : 324 and are treatment

recovered; 81

No new deaths : Since the last four days .

Date fixed for liberation from lockdown : 4 May.

Rodrigues (a dependancy of Mauritius ) no death .As from yesterday lockdown removed

Reunion ; No deat
Seychelles : No death '
madagascar : no reliable information . Some deaths from Corona have been recoded .It is under control .

Catching up with Master Chef this week, the last four contestants were taken to Mauritius for a few days cooking. Looks beautiful and the food appears to be a delicious fusion of African/French/Indian.

Yep, Mauritius looked fantastic. Just a pity Claire didn't get through :( But the guy who won was on breakfast telly today and seemed a genuinely nice bloke.

Those stats are encouraging Dave many
My daughter was due to me married on the island in May. Obviously that was postponed and has now been rearranged for November.is the weather ok then?

We holidayed there 7 years ago and the Island and food were stunningly beautiful, as were the people.
