To be fair to Boris, did you want him to stay in his flat above the office? That's not "working from home" never mind getting away to recover.houseboy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 17, 2020 10:36 amI don't have a problem with Schofield, I think he's okay, but I am a lifelong anti-royalist and for certain won't be singing anything. Still wondering how Charlie boy got tested when he had mild symptons when everyone else is just told to stay at home and get through it. A bit like the royals clearing off to their country retreat when everyone else is told to stay put. Or Boris clearing off from London to Chequers. Sorry folks, we are NOT all inthis together, most of us are but not some it seems. As Orwell said so famously in Animal Farm 'all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others'.
Re Animal Farm, Orwell was commenting on the communist rulers of Soviet Union. You already know that, of course.
Charlie is over 70. How do we know what other health conditions he has?

I think you know what I mean. Lifelong meaning as long as I can remember and never at any time in the future. No matter how short life might be. Basic principles don't alter. How can they mate. Oddly though I don't wish them any harm, or any human beng.alboclaret wrote: ↑Fri Apr 17, 2020 12:54 pmAs if you could be arsed being "lifelong" at that...
Lifes short enough

I actually quite like Boris despite me not beng a Tory. He has handled this situation and himself well.Paul Waine wrote: ↑Fri Apr 17, 2020 1:54 pmTo be fair to Boris, did you want him to stay in his flat above the office? That's not "working from home" never mind getting away to recover.

Orwell was commenting on Stalin's Russia (as you said), not communisn as such...he was a committed socialist himself.
I'm not certain what Charlies age has to do with anything, most people over 70 haven't had a test. I'm glad he was okay though, I might be anti-royal but I wish no harm on anyone.
