Messenger help?

Mrs Trevor has lost her post arrow, after entering text.
The list of friends, in the left column, appears wider than normal and this has pushed the arrow off the right edge of the screen.
Any clues or cures to what she has done? Cheers.

I've got the same problem which started today...how did you solve it as I haven't a clue...not very good with these things!
Any help will be much appreciated.

She turned it off and re-started.
On my pad I pressed the blue, left facing arrow at the top of the message half of the page. That minimises your contacts and brought the post arrow onto the page.

Haven't been able to reply sooner due to three days of "forbidden"! I tried minimising contacts but still didn't get the post arrow. Switching my iPad off and then on does seem to work but once I go out of messenger, I have to repeat the procedure to get back in.

Tried everything but no luck. However, there was an automatic update and since then, touch wood, everything has been fine so it may have been a gremlin in the system or something I had done without realising.
Couldn't reply sooner as yet again I have been " forbidden" for several days.

Has “forbidden” actually been locking you down? As above closing down your device and re-start can, not always, clear it. It is more of a pest. It stops me replying to some threads but not all.
