It wasn't 4BBs, it was a minraise, I had the button and 97s is a perfectly good drawing hand which is unlikely to be dominated and in an ideal situation can get me a full double up, especially against a player I have good read on.
I assume the second paragraph is referring to the hand where I called you down with AK, blind v blind when it was clear that you were probably bluffing given the board texture and bet sizing.
To be fair, you do seem like one of the most competent players of the group, but you have a lot to learn and I'm not giving you any more free lessons
Touche
Although calling 800 when 100/200 blinds with 2 players behind you with 79s isn't great, youd struggle to find an experienced player playing that hand, as you shouldn't be infront, and you weren't
You cant have that good of a read on me, you've called 3 big pots/all ins and been massively behind.
Anyway keep playing it's good to have some healthy competition around the table, it stops me day dreaming.
But remember you've hit 3 times now when only having between 17-30% chance of winning, that cant continue against top players like myself, you will get caught.
It's fine in home games when the game is a fun low stakes game between locals type, but you will spend more than you win in the long run playing 9 7 like you did last night, it nearly got you knocked out, and you dont want to be going out on hands like that as people will cotton on regards your aggressive bullying early on, it's been noticed by a couple who are newbies so might give you calls and out bingo you.
That's enough lessons, I need to teach them you for your chios/cash next week
Have a good week Paul see you next week
( the games there now ready for next week if you want to register)
