The Big Night In - BBC 1 at 7 o'clock

Post by karatekid » Thu Apr 23, 2020 6:50 pm

I suppose it's worth a watch to see whats going on. Not much else to do. Lenny Henry apart it should be OK.

Peter Kay were supposed to be on. By the looks of it it's a pre recorded clip of Amarillo. - disappointing to say the least. The rest are very very boring.

I've put it on record, so I can start watching it from about 8-8.30pm and fast forward through all the crap.

Watching re-runs of Homes under the Hammer ... the Dion Dublin puns on there are funnier than Lenny bloody Henry's inanities 🤣

So I fastforwarded the likes of David Walliams, Miranda and Stephen bloody Fry and now they've put Paddy McFu*kface on.

Somebody is seriously taking the p*ss.

The producers have clearly received a copy of the Prick List.

Well Lenny Henry and Zoe Ball are definitely not "in". Unless they live in a BBC studio.

Most are on ours and all raising a glass or cuppa (we do have some octogenarians that can't so we raise an extra clap and glass for them...)

Could hear the clapping in the village thats about 400 yards away on the other side of the Railway...

Well I certainly don:t think it was worth a watch. Absolutely rubbish apart from potentially raising money for good causes.

I mowed my lawns, capped and picked some weeds. Good night's work.

Unfortunately I have just come in and watched Baked Potato!
