I thought the group version of the song "Times like these" was brilliant, that song when we play at the Turf always sends shivers down my spine.

Good to see Peter Kay back on form,he's been sadly missed on the box.Forgot how many stars featured in the Amarillo video, pretty decent effort considering the special conditions. Catherine Tate and Little Britain were the highlights for me,i see Captain Tom got a name check he's getting everywhere that chap.

Top bloke, brought me many a laugh over the years! I hope he’s doing well! Respect his privacy, I’m sure he will be back, as and when he can

I don't think his back has yet recovered from carrying McGuiness for so long.

Well done to all concerned. I know there are lots of petty, snarky comments elsewhere regarding this but, fair play, they've raised a tidy sum.

Peter Kay back on top form? Regurgitating tired old routines and a song video that was barely funny first time round does NOT constitute a return to form for me I’m afraid.

Phoenix nights was quite superb, max and paddy quite good and car share was enjoyable, but the stand up is tired and lacking new material.

Well done to them all for raising the money though, tremendous effort.

That song by the way, is excellent. The original is excellent and I also have a version by Glen Campbell which is also quite superb.

What is this style of singing where all girls suck in like they're going lose their false teeth. Weird. Just sing normal.

Given the difficulty, they put themselves out there for the best cause.

Thank you is what should be the theme.

Surprised Peter Kay’s getting some stick, it’s simply a charidee lark about and fair play to those involved . Most bizzare in Twitter is people saying “ Peter Kay looks so ill” If there’s ever a man who looks ill by default it’s PK, fat ,pale faced ,palid is just way he looks . Then again who can forget when plenty on here reported him dead a few yrs ago using their “ close sources”

I didn’t watch it, but let me guess - Peter Kay regurgitated the same unfunny stuff he did 15 years ago...

Some miserable beggars on here, these people gave their time to highlight some worthy causes, raise money, some of which they personally donated, and provide some much needed light relief, and all people can do is moan, maybe you should go and listen to Morrissey or Radiohead they might cheer you up.And yes i did donate before anyone asks.

He did look and sound ill to be fair. He was certainly missing that spark that all his tv appearances (as himself) normally have.

Missed the show last night so can't comment but just followed the link above to the Times like these song.
I know I am getting old (and have never been hip anyway) but I recognised TWO faces on the whole video.
I think one was the singer in Foo Fighters (guessing because was it their song?) and one was Dustbin man I think.
How did I ever get soooo out of touch??????
