A long fulfilling career, he well and truly shaped our club when he signed Mac.

After two years of Britton, Hill ensured we continued to establish us as a top flight club.

Another excellent and informative article on our first post war manager which proved to be an excellent appointment.
Successful seasons and some excellent signings including probably the best one ever of Jimmy McIlroy will ensure he will always be remembered with fondness by all Claret Supporters.

I guess £8000 was a considerable sum of money in those days but what a signing! The signing of Jimmy Mac must surely rate as one of the best signings, if not the best, ever made by the Clarets. After I started watching the Clarets, Saturdays just didn't seem the same if Jimmy was not playing either because of injury or international call ups.
A Davethevicar David, Frank Hill will always be remembered.
