I know he’s been ill, worrying if his sister takes control as supreme leader, I can see her wanting to make a big statement and it’s known she loves the power. Let’s be real though, they could invade the South with their 2million army and it would last a week or so before they were wiped out by the yanks

It would be nice if North Korea could adopt some market capitalism (like China) followed by some democracy.

The potential of that country is immense.

Saw these rumours days ago,but i thought it was just American propaganda, apparently not,as posters above mentioned his successor could be even worse, believe it or not.

If true then fingers crossed his successor isn’t a nut job.

Can't believe some of the shameful comments. People might not like him, but let's remember he is a good guy with a family, friends and some big generals who must be going out of their minds

No, China is a shining example of what market capitalism can achieve.

China has driven the efforts to alleviate world poverty.

It is well on the way to becoming the primary world superpower thanks to adopting market capitalism.

What does all this mean? Well it probaly means an end to era of American hegemony and all the stuff that gets people hot and bothered.

But what does it mean for the people of China? It means that they are no longer starving to death, as they were when they had a Communist economic system.

They have more than enough to feed themselves and live thriving, prosperous lives.

All because they embraced market capitalism. Hopefully democratic reform will follow too.

Yes, don't forget the bat food, or the aspirational students who were wiped out in Tiananmen Square, or the million of Uighuirs in concentation camps.

This "China" of which you speak.

Would this be the same, cuddly, "China" whose response to the Coronavirus that emanated from Wuhan City, China. Was to weld peoples front doors up to prevent them from leaving their state owned homes?

Think about that for a moment.

" You may not leave The Peoples Socialist Republic of China's property, that you are fortunate enough, to currently reside in. As , the front door and surrounding frame are made of a material, which enables your government to permanently seal , until we decide you can leave"

The communist government announced this week that they had got their mortality figures wrong.

They adjusted their numbers by , and I quote, "1500"

DOES ANYBODY ELSE FEEL THAT "1500" IS A SUSPICIOUSLY AND CONVENIENTLY ROUND FIGURE?

Mmmmmmmm.

Yep. Same country.

Used to have starving people & famine.

Now doesn't.

Because a large proportion of its populace can actually remember famine and death by starvation they're incredibly grateful for the lives they have now.

None of this negates any of the abuses and horrors of the CCP, which are manifold.

But we're talking about the same country.

Aah good. I'm so glad we clarified that.

Its grand that they've embraced capitalism (they haven't, for one nanosecond, they've simply exploited weak democracies but we'll gloss over that for brevitys sake)

And I now look forward, wholeheartedly, to it stepping back from continuing to be the tyrannical, brutal, murderous, imperialistic ,communist regime that, had it not attempted to lie and cover up what the rest of the planet was about to "enjoy" thanks to its endeavours, we may have had a chance to prevent thousands of unnecessary premature deaths.

Readjusted mortality figures- "1500"

Come on, you're supposed to be brighter than that.....

At least Rileybobs running out of emojis and responses was understandable.

Hitting the buffers, full on, with, having to jump from one thread, to an , attention craving, other, to try and keep yourself in the game. Is just unforgivable!

It’s impossible to run out of emojis. In the same way that it’s impossible to run out of commas.

Bless him, he's going to have a sore head in the morning. Needs to really sleep it off now.

Hope he gets away from his keyboard safely x
