Talk Talk

Post by morpheus2 » Mon Apr 27, 2020 12:19 am

😷Is it in TALKTALK’s terms and conditions that they switch off at midnight every day....

I know I should have read the terms and conditions, I hope I don’t have to be the arse end of a human caterpillar 😳

The worst company I have ever dealt with by far. Even worse than NPower who are diabolical.

If you can get it in your area, try hyperoptic. Cheap and fast. I had talk talk for a year and had to bin them off, we paid for 20mb and got about 2mb... Hyperoptic i pay £18 for 20mb and get.... 20mb

They even uograded our speed to 30mb for free about six months ago

My brother went to the Milton Keynes concert where it rained heavily all day so he wore a binliner on his head with eyeholes cut out. Peter Gabriel was carried on in a coffin to open the Genesis set.

I was at Milton Keynes Bowl in the summer the year after Genesis.
David Bowie - Serious Moonlight Tour. Only just finished my O Levels and can’t even remember how I got to Milton Keynes.
Still to this day easily the best live concert I have ever seen...and won’t be beaten now.

My contract with them comes to aclose in June and I'm thinking of a change...what were the specific problems you had (with Talk Talk) and where did you go...Hyperoptic looks good but it is not in my area.

Customer Service particularly. People who just didn’t care, totally unhelpful and were plain rude. It was as though they were temporary workers or students but I’d have had better service if a chimpanzee was on the other end of the phone. I had problems ending a contract with them and the connection was always poor. Never had a problem with Plus Net or Sky. Good connections and good service.

Fantastic band, utterly dreadful broadband provider. Both in terms of customer service and performance. Avoid.

If you reside in the foothills of a northern one horse town....called Barlick. Midnight is the cut off point. The idle chatter and gossiping need to recharge its Batteries for the Following days tales of fantasy and intrigue.
