Carrachallenge

Post by Dyched » Mon Apr 27, 2020 2:10 pm

Those of you at a loose end Jamie Carragher has set a challenge.

Make the best PL 11 you can think of. A few rules. You can only pick 1 player that has played at a PL club. So if you choose Trippier you can’t have anymore Spurs/Burnley players. You can only pick 1 player from each country. So again if you pick Trippier that’s no Burnley/Spurs and no other English player eg Gerrard.

Players have to have played in the PL so you can still pick a Man City player.

It’s tougher than you think!!

When I saw the thread title, I expected it to be on how far you can spit.

Unfortunately anything he says now I have little respect for since the spitting incident. I mute him or turn him off if on the TV. Should have been sacked. Despicable human being.

He's right it's tougher than you first think,i don't disagree with you on Carragher's behaviour BTW,considering Sky binned Andy Gray & Richard Keys purely for offensive language,it's does smack of double standards.

Absolutely. I said at the time, if they allowed him back I would cancel Sky Sports. So I did. Saved a fortune and haven't missed it. Won't pay for it whilst he is on. Disgusting individual.

Well done in sticking to your guns, many people say they'll cancel this or that, but when it comes to the crunch, they never follow through,I've not had pay-TV for over a year, and even during lockdown i'm not missing it.And your spot on,it's amazing how quickly the savings stack up.

Now you've got that off your chest, what's your team?

Had a crack at this when my friend sent it to me last week. I could not for the life of me think of a right back after I'd done the rest of the team, and I had a small meltdown upon finding out Patrick Viera played two games for AC Milan.
