Re: ***SPOT THE BALL*** Final & Semi Final Games ***
I could be ok at 3, hopefully,
But sadly I'm a bit flat out with this virus - I'm not well at all.
I'm on my tod and can't tell when I'm going to get up.
Today was 6.30 pm (actually thought it was the morning).
Yesterday was 4am then 7am then 8 the 10 then 4pm.
I'm so knackered I feel like I've been hit by 20 Ben Mee tackles.

Very kind thank you.RalphCoatesComb wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 10:47 pmSo sorry HunterST. Need anything? I'll be there in a flash and even bring "His Nibs". Have you been tested ?
re "have you been tested" I've more chance getting a date with Noomi Rapace
The only way I'll get tested is if I'm admitted to hospital. (The very last resort).
My doctors are effectivly shut - I've been told to sit tight, take paracetamol, drink water and call the 3 9's if things escalate.
This is a fun thread / topic so I really don't want to drag it in a another direction.
I might at some point start a new topic on this so others might see what it's like / how to try and cope - I fear sadly within a few posts it would probably decend into political point scoring as others have.
Stay safe everyone!
I mean SAFE - don't take any chances - I've been ultra careful yet here I am.

Sorry to hold everyone up. Still getting used to this being a stay at home Dad lark while the missus is out working
Also I didn't get to the final by rushing! It was down to a lot of staring, calculation and double checking.
Oh and some luck,
Well OK a lot of luck.
Fine it was all pure luck.
I'll do my selections now

Re: ***SPOT THE BALL*** Final & Semi Final Games ***
Firstly, let's deal with the End of Season Cup Final (1st Leg)
What an exciting match. HunterST took an early lead, finding a direct hit with the 1st image. By image 3 Goobs had recovered and it was all square going into the final two images. Goobs managed a 1 with the 4th image and both players scored a 3 on the final one. So, the score going into the 2nd leg is HunterST 9 Goobs 10.
In the Michael Duff Trophy, the game of the day involved Redbeard and JohnMac. VAR was called upon towards the final whistle when Spot's abacus broke down. What was initially regarded as a draw, went to JohnMac on a recount ! Redbeard 14 JohnMac 15.
In the second semi-final Bobinho ran out a comfortable 11 - 4 winner over Evensteadiereddie. Sunday's Final will be JohnMac v Bobinho !

HunterST 9 Goobs 10
Michael Duff Trophy Semi Finals
Redbeard 14 JohnMac 15
Evensteadiereddie 4 Bobinho 11
Sunday's Finals will take place at 15.00hrs (Subject to Hunter's temperature for the End of Season Cup)
The format for the Finals will be slightly different. Players will have 2 minutes to make their selection for Image 1. That will be marked BEFORE moving on to Image 2, and so on. Spot thought of this one! Spectators are welcome but they MUST STAY OFF THE PITCH and not interfere with play!

Cheers, Ralph, enjoyed that and thanks for your time and effort.
For me, from last year's bottom three to the semis will do - "a work in progress" as the g
reat man would say.
Good luck to all finalists at the weekend !

An interactive final on Sunday?
Is there 5 images again?
Are all going to be timed like the 1st?

Re: ***RESULTS NOW IN ***SPOT THE BALL*** Final & Semi Final Games ***
There will be 5 images but, you'll get marked on each "individually". That way, it will be more akin to "progress" through the match. People can take the lead, others may fight back. All entries will be timed - again this will give more of a match-day feel. Hopefully, it will all fall into place quite nicely.
15.00hrs this coming Sunday.

Having already lost a mate to this horrible virus, I hope you feel better soon and wish you a full recovery.HunterST_BFC wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 10:38 pmI could be ok at 3, hopefully,
But sadly I'm a bit flat out with this virus - I'm not well at all.
To balance the loss I have some other friends who are recovering after being in hospital on Oxygen. Don't rush anything, it takes time even once you think you are over the worst of it.
