117 million Chinese to travel tomorrow
Internal travel restrictions are to be lifted from tomorrow with up to 117 million expected to take advantage in celebration of a five day national holiday. This lifting of restrictions does not, of course, include arrivals from abroad who are still under quarantine obligations.

A five day national holiday will be useless for travelling to countries with 14 day quarantines. It’ll be the countries where they do no checks at all at the airports they’ll head to

Leeds would have taken more.

Above the lintel of the door of The Cross Gaits Inn it says 'Free Beer Tomorrow'.
As a child my grandfather drove me specially to read the message.
I hope that pub survives this crisis.
I once started a conversation at the bar.
The locals nearly fell off their chairs... A conversation????????

"Oh I... A conversation is it? Oh that's what it is, is it?"

... "Oh right.... Er... You're making conversation, is it? "
Re: 117 million Chinese to travel tomorrow
I'm wondering just whether that pub was ever in Yorkshire...
... Anyway, everyone laughed afterwards.

"... And er... You'll be driving back to Barrowford down the centre of the road after, eh?"
