Bundesliga Resumption
This morning its being reported that since the stepping up of training 3 FC Koln players have since tested positive for COVID19. I'd imagine this will delay any thought of restarting the further back than what had already suggested unfortunately.
Now consider the PL is muted to be tacking the situation in Germany where does that leave them?
Just as an aside I heard a pretty good solution on the radio to the ongoing situation with this season's completion.
This would be to make the current season the 19-21 season.
It would mean being able to complete this seasons fixtures when its safe to do so, but when completed an mini half season is to be added on the end. So instead of a 38 game season it would become a 56 game season. This would allow more leeway as a timeframe for completion plus all outstanding issues with regards to Champions, Relegation, Promotion, European places would be settled.
A bit convoluted perhaps, but possibly the best way forward I've seen suggested so far

Re: Bundesliga Resumption
And do already cash strapped clubs - many that were already paying almost all their TV money in wages - then pay an extra half season of wages and bonuses? That would make them probably worse off than now.THEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 11:32 amJust as an aside I heard a pretty good solution on the radio to the ongoing situation with this season's completion.

Re: Bundesliga Resumption
A 56 game season, that's mad,and looking at the vested interests of the clubs, why on earth would teams like Burnley,Newcastle,Palace,Saints vote for that, when their virtually safe now.Besides that how can you legally change the T & C'S of the competition midway through, and that doesn't even include the chaos regarding contract's,transfer windows and wages, did that moon bat idea come from Robbie Savage,it's exactly the sort of nonsense he regularly spouts.

possibly, and only possibly, because it was posted on at least 2 other threads last night. You can also say that there have not been many users on this morning, it is a lovely day out there.THEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 12:16 pmSo far the aside bit has been tackled by a couple but not the Bundesliga bit

Leverkusen appear confident of a resumption at some point in May.

Didn't Ronaldo say he won't return to Turin while cornavirus is still active.
Once players start speaking out football will have to give in.

I’d love to know what Ronaldos stance is if Juve said they are not paying him until cornonavirus isn’t active.

With a wife and children at home I'm sure he will cope with his reported near half a billion pound wealth. Health is anybody's wealth
