We have a WINNER Baby ***SPOT THE BALL***

Post by RalphCoatesComb » Sat May 02, 2020 8:04 pm

These will be interactive and commence from 15.00hrs tomorrow (Sunday 3 May).

They will be "interactive" in that each player will have 2 minutes to give their selections before we move on to the next Image. There will be 5 Images in total. Any drawn games at Full Time will mean that Extra Time will be played.

The End of Season Cup Final (Second Leg) will be fought out by

HunterST vs Goobs (First Leg score 9 - 10)

The Michael Duff Trophy contenders are

Bobinho vs JohnMac

Spectators are welcome to support / barrack from the sidelines ;)

Not sure that we can allow substitutes at this late hour.

How are you feeling HunterST?

No problem. If you’re not available, we’ll have to find another time. Let’s see how we go on at 3pm 👍

I've just arrived Ralph, I'm confused. Just been stopped by spot who says it's behind closed doors.

We'll have to have a vote:

Please vote impartially and why did you choose for Goobs and JohnMac to be awarded the games

We have a contingency.

IF either HunterST or Bobinho can't make it then we will revert back to "non-interactive". Not as exciting, but it is fair ! :)

Or, add up everybody's points in previous rounds and take an average. The highest averages being declared the winners.
I've already done this JM, do you want to know how that leaves you?

All of the matches this year have come down to this FINAL one.

HunterST v Goobs in the Second Leg of the End of Season Cup and

Bobinho v JohnMac in the Final of the Michael Duff Trophy

Due to the unavailability of Bobinho and HunterST, we will not be having our planned ‘interactive’ final.

The best laid plans of mice and men, as they say in Auchtermuchty, and Wigan !

Hopefully, you were able to catch up with Back to the Fixture yesterday that featured our dramatic 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace. If you can remember the whole game, it may give you the edge.

Caught up now... sorry to spoil the fun, couldnt be helped I’m afraid.

I’ll get my entry in tomorrow, bit flaked now.

Hey just had a thought rcc, was it last year I was finalist in the plate comp? Seem to remember being here before, unless I’ve deja vu’d me self. :?

Oh, and John, that bag of cash I left.... bugger the bonio’s... bet it all on you and I’ll ‘fail’ to turn up for the game then we can split the winnings.

They've all popped off to bed for the day now so I'll take a look and post my answers in a minute or two.

We have a WINNER of the Michael Duff Trophy

By a score of 7-5 JohnMac has take the Trophy. CONGRATULATIONS JohnMac you ARE a "DUFFER" ;)

In the Second Leg of the End of Season Cup, HunterST beat Goobs by 9-8. For the mathematicians in the room, that means a Draw 18-18 ! (Spot has gone all apoplectic on me)
