Face Masks in Club Colours
Hamburg Sportverein have sold 60,000 masks in club colours.
Would you wear a mask if Burnley F.C. were to produce face mask in Claret and Blue ?
If the club shop were to sell masks in club colours, all or part of the proceeds could go to the NHS.
I have made this suggestion to the club.

Wouldn't wear a face mask at all but for those that do wear them I reckon this would be a good idea.

I’ve been using a buff, folded in half for double protection. I’ve never seen them in store but I’d be first in line if they sold them.
If you were really nervous you could put an antiseptic sheet between the layers.

Re: Face Masks in Club Colours
Why would I want to make a face mask a fashion accessory?

Re: Face Masks in Club Colours
Its a good idea if we ever reach the point where..as I see is proposed for public transport...they allow attendance at football matches (say on a 50% capacity basis) wearing a mask. Otherwise pointless for me as I wouldn't wear a mask unless I absolutely had to in order to comply with Government/legal instruction.

Bought 2 snoods from E-Bay in Claret... £7.95 inc p&p for the pair... I wear one when I go shopping....
I do wear clothing as well ... before anyone asks

A Burnley scarf wrapped round you, is the best defence there is - for anything!

A mask with a pic of Ben Mee or Tarky would frighten ANY virus away.
Best defensive partnership around.

I think that this is actually a very good idea. Part of the proceeds to NHS - even better.MT03ALG wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 11:01 amHamburg Sportverein have sold 60,000 masks in club colours.

I love the way prices have been 'slashed' bearing in mind they have probably never been on sale beforeSpijed wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 12:47 pmThey are already being sold in Liverpool colours:

Re: Face Masks in Club Colours
Not sure if this is legal, but if one has a tubular scarf that's thin, one can see through it to walk around and shop etc:

No, it's the angle of the photograph that makes it look like that.

Re: Face Masks in Club Colours
The bindippers and Manure could use a used sanitary towel to cover their faces.

Steve, lay off the wacky-backy.

Re: Face Masks in Club Colours
Fair enough, if that's the case. I haven't done any research into this so I have no knowledge on their effectiveness.CoolClaret wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 11:34 pmTwo weeks after facemasks in public became mandatory in Austria, they went from 90 cases per million to 10....
Daft not to, imo.
Has a similar pattern happened in other Countries and did Austria do anything else alongside this that could also have been a contributing factor?
Were cases already peaked there at the introduction of mandatory masks or were the still rising?
I would also say that should they become mandatory here then I would of course wear one.
